HEY!! You made it!

After seeing that post on Facebook, you’re probably wondering if this guy Nathan Resnick is actually legit. I’ll tell you one thing right off the bat: I’m not a coach and don’t want to be paid to train you.

I’m here to make your ecommerce journey easier. My background stems in China, where I was one of 48 high school students to be immersed in China living with a host family and attending a local Chinese high school during my junior year of high school.

That was nearly ten years ago. Since then, I’ve brought hundreds of my own products to life, scaled six figure ecommerce companies, raised $1m+ on Kickstarter, and now run Sourcify, the fastest growing B2B manufacturing platform.

My reason to start Sourcify was simple– after being a ecommerce entrepreneur for almost ten years, I realized manufacturing is the biggest challenge founders face. I was sick and tired of seeing my friends face fraudulent factories, produce poor quality products, and miss production timelines.

What I realized is that your supply chain is the backbone of your business. Without a stable manufacturing setup, you cannot grow. I see most ecommerce entrepreneurs spending their time studying the optimization of their ads.

Though you should definitely focus on marketing, you also need to know your supply chain inside and out. When most companies are manufacturing on the other side of the world in Asia, how can you get to know your supply chain?

That’s where our Factory Confirm tool comes in at Sourcify. We’ve taken all of the data out of our Guangzhou office and made it into a product that enables you to analyze factories in real time on Alibaba.

Let me walk you through your current process:

  1. You figure out a product you want to manufacture (NICE!)
  2. You send 30 or so messages on Alibaba to random manufacturers that claim to produce that product.
  3. 5 manufacturers respond to you, some take awhile to respond and some look sketchy.
  4. You dive into those five manufacturers, trying to figure out which one is legit and which one is a fraud (Alibaba has a lot of trading companies, agents, and wholesalers that pretend to be factories).
  5. You choose one or two to produce a sample with.
  6. The sample gets to you two or three weeks later. It’s wrong and you just wasted money and time on this whole process.

Let’s flash back to step #1. You’ve got that great product in mind you want to manufacture.

You now use our Factory Confirm Chrome Extension to analyze factories in real time.

It gives you feedback on factories right away, letting you know which ones are worth contacting. You now send three requests and get three responses back. You choose one to sample your product with and it comes out great. You’ve now just found a great factory to work with 10x faster and don’t have to worry about fraud.

Feeling confident manufacturing your products is amazing. You don’t have to worry about fraudulent factories and you can get to production faster.

Heck, we’ve manufactured products for so many companies that CNBC invited me on air to talk about manufacturing.

I’m not sure if this was as fun as speaking in front of thousands in Vietnam though.

I’m telling you right now, if you want to bring a product to life or scale a ecommerce business, your supply chain is just as important as your marketing. I’ll take this a step further and let the numbers speak:

The cost to produce your products directly ties into profit. If you’re spending $20 and I’m spending $15 to produce the same product, I will win. My margins are 25% higher than yours and I can acquire a customer for 25% more while staying profitable.

Don’t let me beat you. Give our Factory Confirm tool a try 🙂

I am the CEO of Sourcify, the fastest growing sourcing platform backed by YCombinator that helps hundreds of companies manufacture products around the world.

In the past seven years I’ve brought dozens of products to market, ran a few ecommerce companies (sold one), been a part of projects on Kickstarter raising a total of over $1mil, and been featured in media outlets like the New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, Huffington Post, Entrepreneur, and more. I also used to live in China and speak Mandarin near fluently.
